Luke is an international event rider and coach based at Sedgeway Equestrian Centre, Witchford. 

With a love of horses from a young age, Luke started his career working with horses in 2009 where he went to work for international event rider Nick Gauntlett. This is where he truly started to learn his trade and really got the desire to compete. After a successful introduction to the eventing world Luke then spent the next few years trying to gain as much knowledge and experience working for other yards such as Cadenza Eventing, Sarah Bullimore and Anthony Clark before taking the step to set up his own yard with the backing of some very nice owners.

Throughout Lukes career he has worked with young horses right up to 5* event horses which has given a wealth of knowledge to use whilst producing, riding and teaching. Luke has spent a lot of time with producing ex racehorses to event horses as well as dressage horses. This gives him a broad knowledge when coaching others.

Luke himself has produced and competed horses up to 2* level eventing and medium level dressage, whilst schooling at Prix St George. 

Some highlights of his career are taking Ferdi his dressage horse on to not only the Cambridgeshire Dressage, but also the Regional team and the Home International team as well. In 2022 Luke also produced Fenix from starting the season at BE100, to finishing the season at the 6 year old championships at Osberton in the 2*.

Luke currently has a great team of horses for next year, it is set to be a very exciting year indeed.
